So I got to watch Avengers the other day. And...well when Loki was telling everyone to kneel to him I couldn't get General Zod (from Superman II) out of my head.
Honestly Zod and Loki should meet as they have a lot in common they would quickly become best friends! Mainly that they like people to kneel to them. They would be like the bestest best buddies FOREVER! Until they get dropped into the void of space or something. They seem to be prone to that fate. But then they could have someone to talk to while floating through the cosmos planning their next plan of attack against the good guys. Or more likely they'd talk about girls and kneeling positions. It would be the best banished into space sleepover EVER!

It occurs to me, this version of Zod was somewhat lacking in ambition. He acted pretty apathetic once he'd taken over Earth. The ennui of the true aristocracy it would seem.
So I think he needs someone like Loki to motivate him, plus Loki could do tricks to amuse him when he's bored.
